A Johnstown icon is being remembered after passing away last week. Louis Galliker the Third died Friday surrounded by family. He was 87.
Galliker was the Chairman and President of the Galliker Dairy Company for more than 53 years. Galliker’s obituary says he worked at the Company’s Offices until a week before his passing. He’s credited with turning his family business into one of the State’s largest dairy enterprises, distributing ice cream, milk, iced tea and other beverages throughout 10 states. A Mass was celebrated Tuesday afternoon at Saint Clement Church.
