Bishop McCort hockey coach John Bradley has officially announced his retirement after 25 seasons.
McCort Principal Thomas Smith confirmed that Coach Bradley had informed the school of his plans to retire mid-season.
Principal Smith says despite repeated efforts to convince Bradley to stay, he officially announced his retirement following the Crushers’ Laurel Mountain Hockey League Championship victory.
Confirmation of Coach Bradley’s retirement comes on the heels of a recent suspension by the LMHL for “behavioral issues.”
Despite an appeal by Bishop McCort, Coach Bradley is suspended from any and all LMHL activities and events through July 1, 2024.
