Scary moments in Clearfield this morning as a car went crashing into the Susquehanna River.
Police say the driver reportedly suffered a medical emergency before driving into the river, at Buck’s Pizza off Park Place, in the Borough.
Officials say both the driver and passenger were able to free themselves from the vehicle, with the assistance of a bystander, before being transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators say the Curwensville Water Rescue Team assisted the Clearfield Fire Department with removing the vehicle from the water.
