Memorial Highway Chevrolet and Somerset County Humane Society

Memorial Highway Chevrolet in Somerset is kicking off their month-long mission of helping out the Somerset County Humane Society. Every Saturday for the month of May, they’re asking Visitors to fill up the back of a Silverado with donations like dog and cat food, bedding, cleaning supplies, and other items.

Adoptable dogs are brought to the events and t-shirts and other items are also being sold.

Joyce Fallier, Office Manager of Memorial Highway Chevrolet saying: “If you’re shopping at Walmart and you wanted to stop in, you can come in and give it to the receptionist, and we can just hold it for you all week. You don’t have to come on a Saturday, you can come anytime during the week. We’re here six days a week.”

Kathy Lioi, a Volunteer from Somerset County Humane Society adding: “We bring the dogs so folks can see how wonderful shelter pets can be. You adopt them, but they also adopt you.”

The Dealership will also donate money to the Shelter with a portion of the sales from every car sold this month.
