The annual Milesburg Community Day and Car Show returned this weekend after last year’s hiatus.
Market Street in Milesburg was lined up with classic cars, food & craft vendors, historical displays
And live music from the Bald Eagle Area High School marching band.
The event hosted by the Milesburg Museum and historical society was also a way to honor local veterans
And get more people involved with the museum.
“One of the event meanings of course is to attract people into the museum. We have a lot of rich history in the museum. We have a library. We have 81 volumes that go back quite a few years of the local residents here in Milesburg.”
The building that houses the historical society was built in the late 1790s and is one of the oldest buildings in Centre County.
