Johnstown’s Point Stadium saw a a Double Header at the ball park on Sunday. The Mill Rats won game one with a walk-off Home Run to take the 6-5 Victory. That momentum carried over into Game Two against the West Virginia Miners.
In the Bottom of the 2nd, Mill Rats lead 4-2. With runners on first and second, Bobby Lane takes it to deep left center field over the brick wall for the 3 run Home Run and the Mill Rats lead 7-2. The next batter, Tyler Dellerman gets in on the action. Back to back Home runs at the Point for Father’s Day. Johnstown with the commanding lead early in the game.
In the Top of the 3rd, Jake Reifsnyder hits it to shallow right. Andre Good diving on defense for the out. The sac fly will send one home and the Miners cut it to 8-3. Later, runner on first, Bradley McLean decides to take it deep left himself for the 2 run Home Run to cut the lead to 8-5.
The Miners put up 4 runs in the 3rd to start their comeback. West Virginia wins with a Final of 10-8 splitting the day in Johnstown.
