A Bedford County teenager is found safe nearly 12 hours after he went missing from the Saxton-Liberty Township area.
Dylan Huberman spoke with State Troopers about why they were so concerned about this teen
Corey Pagel was found unharmed around 3 this Afternoon, and the VFW Ballfield here in Saxton served as a State Police Command post for the operation.
According to State Trooper Christopher Fox, the initial calls regarding the missing 17 year old came in very early this Morning.
He says the search initially began around is Pagel’s home and the Hennessy Fruit Stand, which was the teenager’s last known location as of 4:30 Sunday Afternoon.
Trooper Fox also mentioned that the extensive search expanded to nearby State Parks, a water search on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River, and he said earlier Today that there was even talk of the search expanding beyond Bedford County given the growing period of time since Pagel’s disappearance.
Authorities have thus far declined to reveal where Pagel was located, but ultimately, Pagel is safe.
