After a hard deadline for a deal put forth by Major League Baseball Yesterday that deadline was extended to Today as the owners and the MLBPA went back to the drawing board for the 9th straight day trying to get a new deal do and at long last we had a proposal on the table
Which the MLBPA turned down as we now await the next step in regards to opening day which is currently slated for March 31st but MLB did threaten to cancel opening day games if a deal wasn’t reached. The major hang up appears to be on balance tax thresholds and minimum salaries
And this just in the first week of the MLB season has been cancelled
