Mountaincat Tournament

Over the weekend winter sports tipped off for high school students.

Several teams kicked off their seasons in the Mountain Cat Tournament held at UPJ.

Bishop McCort won the ladies showcase game against Shanksville Stoneycreek 59 to 27.

Windber and Richland met in the boys championship game Sunday afternoon

Where the Rams were crowned Mountain Cat Tournament Champions with a 46 to 33 victory over Windber.

The Rams All-State soccer player Trent Rozich was named tournament MVP.

Rozich had a team high of 24 points & 9 rebounds.

Richland is now 2 and 0 to start off their season.

For the Ramblers, Keith Charney led the team with 11 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
