Over 100,000 people in the United States are waiting for an organ transplant. It’s estimated that twenty patients die every day because of the lack of donor organs. Unfortunately, misinformation often keeps people from becoming donors. Katelynn Metz, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Center for Organ Recovery and Education or “CORE”, dispels some of the myths surrounding organ donation.
