One of the newest members of the legal team for former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial is a familiar name in one area county.
“What is to keep this happening over and over again and a public official going through six or seven months of this”
Former President Trump wont be the first elected official who Attorney Bruce Castor Jr. Has represented. Since 2015, he’s been a lawyer for former Centre County district Attorney Stacy Parks Miller. In fact in 2015,
Castor was sworn in as a special assistant Centre County district attorney for what turned out to be,a three year term.
Castor was a fixture for several years in court proceeding involving Parks Miller, and more recently continued to represent her in hearings about her law license status, before the state supreme court’s disciplinary board.
Castor,at one point submitted a bill to Centre County government ,for 126 thousand dollars for representing Parks Miller, but the county commissioners refused to pay, saying they had no binding contract or agreement with Castor.
Castor, a former Montgomery County commissioner and district attorney, is also well known for his role in the Bill Cosby sexual assault case.
