New Nittany Lion O.C.

Starting things off with college football where there is a new man in charge of the Penn State offense. Head coach James Franklin said there needed to be a change on that side of the ball and he believes he’s got his guy.

And that man would be Mike Yurcich he comes over from Texas where he helped lead the Longhorns to have one of the best offenses in the country in 2020. He previous stops at Oklahoma State and Ohio State have produced
similar results.

Yurchich is a Pennsylvania native and says he’ll adapt his system to whatever he finds on the depth chart because its all about who’s running the plays that matters.

“One, physical, we want to be a physical offense. Two, want to be a smart offense. Three, we want to be a skilled offense. We’re going to be a talented offense from the players we’re able to recruit here at Penn State, but we want to be tough, smart, and skilled. So when we lineup the most important thing is our players. How we line them up in formations and lastly its plays.”

Spring practice is expected to start sometime in March. Though a offical date has not been released.
