Nittany Lions Update

Penn State is getting ready for senior day against Michigan State. It will be the next to last game for a Nittany Lion squad that has gone through a ton in 2020. Everything has happened to this team from key opt outs.

Injuries, close losses, and everything that has to do with covid.

Head coach James Franklin says he just as frustrated with all of this as anybody and he can’t wait till things go back to normal.

“I want people to see my emotion. I want them to see my passion. I want people to see my face, and I want to see theirs. I wanna hug, I want to do all that. People need that, the players need that, the community needs that, I need that.”

This will be Franklin’s 1st losing season as a head coach since his 1st one at Vanderbilt in 2011.

And the game time and Tv destination for Penn State’s game against Michigan State has been changed for Saturday. They will now play at Noon on ABC. The game was orginally slated for 3:30 on ESPN. The Spartans hold the all time edge in the series at 17-16-1.

Michigan State has won 5 out of the last 7 against the Nittany Lions.
