Nittany Lions Win 3 Straight

After going down to Michigan State 21-10 at the Half, the Nittany Lions were able to turn in on in a big way. They out-gained them and won the turnover battle and the time of possession battle. QB Sean Clifford had another great performance leading the Offense and the Defense was able to step up right when it was needed. Head Coach James Franklin said their 2nd Half adjustments were the key to the Win and it came down to great leadership in the locker room. See video for comments from Coach Franklin.

The Nittany Lions know their next opponent. They will face off with Illinois from Beaver Stadium on Saturday at 5:30. The game will be broadcast on FS1. The Blue and White lead the all time series against Illinois 19-5.

Nittany Lions Junior Receiver Jahan Dotson was named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday. Dotson had a 81 yard punt return for a score in the 4th Quarter against Michigan State. He also added 108 yards receiving on 8 catches. He becomes only the 3rd Big Ten Player since 2000 to have a punt return for a Touchdown and over 100 yards receiving in a game.
