Officials Say Winter Weather will Not Stop Vaccine Shipments

Local public works officials say when this type of storm happens, they follow a plow more salt less type of tactic. And this is beneficial for travelers, and the expected shipments of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine arriving at local hospitals in the area.

Spokespersons from Geisinger and Mount Nittany Health both say they have not had any delays thus far and the vaccine has already been delivered to its facilities.

They say plans to immunize staff will begin this week.

Ahead of Today’s storm, Governor Tom Wolf assured Pennsylvanians that the weather would not affect the statewide transport and distribution of the vaccine.
