The Centre Crest building is still owned by the Centre County Government.
They have hired architects to study the facility and how it could be utilized.
One possibility was to move some county offices there especially with the current office space at a premium.
County administrators say they are taking their time in reviewing the options.
“No definitive plans have been made. the architects are doing a fantastic job compiling a report that will show options for space utilization, offices that could be moved over.
but we’re far away from making a definitive decision on which offices will be going over”
Another option is the county could relocate offices and lease space at Centre Crest to other organizations.
