An update on the multi million dollar legal dispute between State College and the University Area Joint Authority which provides sewage treatment services for most of the Centre Region.
At the most recent UAJA board meeting, it was confirmed the borough has paid the authority what was reported to be $2.6 million dollars, as part of an interim agreement.
Talks between the two continue over rate issues.
The UAJA filed suit against State College in 2022, claiming the borough was underpaying its monthly bills.
