Pa. Looking to Tax Skills Games

Lawmakers are looking to end the debate on the legality of skill game machines in the state for state Senate and House members said today that they will be introducing legislation to regulate and tax Pennsylvania’s skill games.

Law enforcement has called them illegal gambling devices and has sought to ban them, but the machines have been ruled legal games of skill in court rulings.

The lawmaker said taxing them could bring in around $250 million annually. If we really want a recipe for seeing how our our economy can grow and our small businesses thrive, then skill games must be a key ingredient.
