Governor Tom Wolf announcing today that about 1-thousand additional Pennsylvania National Guard members have been activated to support the D.C. national guard for the upcoming presidential inauguration.
With the additional members there are now about 2-thousand from the state going to be in d.c.
According to the release Pennsylvania has the second largest national guard in the country with approximately 19-thousand members located in more than 80 armories and readiness centers statewide.
The governor thanks those members traveling to D.C. for their selfless service.
