Pa School Relief Funding

Looking at state news Governor Tom Wolf announcing $4.9 billion federal coronavirus relief for schools.

According to Wolf 90 percent of that funding will go to traditional public school districts and charter schools in the state.

He says each school must use at least 20 perfect of the money received to address learning loss and the social emotional and academic needs of under represented students.

Schools can use the rest of the funding for a wide range of activities, including food service, professional training, technology purchases, sanitization and cleaning supplies, summer and after school programs, and mental health supports.
