Pasta for a Purpose

The community is coming together for a local man who survived covid after spending 270 days in the hospital.

The fundraiser is called Pasta For a Purpose and will be held for Frank Arcurio of Johnstown Sunday.

He spent time in the ICU, on a ventilator, and with a feeding tube and ended up with paralysis in his hands and legs.

This spaghetti dinner and basket party will help him with medical bills.

“He was in and out of the hospital and nursing homes for over 270 days. He’s at home now recovering with therapists coming to the house, so we’re just trying to get together and
help him with the financial end of some of the bills he’s getting to do the therapy and that.”

He says they’re raffling off almost 200 baskets and sports memorabilia.

This event will be held Sunday

From 11 am to 3 pm

At Saint Benedict Church in Johnstown
