The retrial of convicted murderer Paul Aaron Ross began in Blair County Today.
Ross was originally convicted in 2005 for Tina Miller’s murder.
This month’s retrial is the result of a panel ruling that his defense team didn’t have enough time to establish their case.
Special prosecutor Rich Consiglio and defense attorney Thomas Dickey made their opening statements this morning.
The prosecution began calling people to the stand for testimony, beginning with a state trooper who took aerial photos of the area where the alleged crime was committed, and a boater who says they saw the body of Tina Miller, floating in the water at Canoe Creek State Park on June 26th 2004.
