New Jersey’s Jesper Bratt scored the game-winning goal with 2:50 left in the extra frame.

Sidney Crosby notched the only goal for the Penguins Sunday, his twelfth of the season.

Goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 33 of 35 shots he faced in the losing effort, while Devils’ goalie Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 35 of 26 shots faced.

Pittsburgh will play host to the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
