The Penguins announced yet another superstar is going to miss extended time today as training camp got underway
Center Evgeni Malkin was nursing a knee injury most of last years which happened in a game against the Boston Bruins at home Malkin returned for the playoffs but wasn’t quite himself and had
successful surgery on his knee in June.
Today GM Ron Hextall confirmed Geno will miss the first two months of the regular season as he continues to heal up. He joins Sidney Crosby who’s on the shelf with off season wrist surgery.
