The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly traded goaltender Matt Murray to the Ottawa Senators.
According to a post on the team’s Twitter page, the Penguins have traded the two-time Stanley Cup champion goaltender to the Senators in exchange for forward Jonathan Gruden and a second round pick in the 2020 draft.
Murray helped the Penguins win back-to-back championships in 2016 and 2017.
This trade comes on the heels of the Penguins re-signing goaltender Tristan Jarry to a three-year contract.
