As the Penguins prepare for Tomorrows showdown with Vegas they have had some time to tinker with things in practice.
Its hard to argue Sidney Crosbys line of himself Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust.
It just might be one of the best in all of the NHL.
But the pens have lacked scoring up and down the line up.
Today Head Coach Mike Sullivan was asked if its been a thought to potentially break up those 3 in an effort to have more balanced scoring up and down the line up.
Sullivan didn’t exactly shoot it down.
Heres a look at the Metro Division standings.
The Penguins are placed third with the Hurricanes and Rangers ahead of them.
Carolina is ahead by 6 points but the Pens and Rangers are neck and neck in number of points.
Next up the Penguins will face off against the Vegas Golden Knights at home in Pittsburgh at 7 o’clock.
