Penguins Update

The Penguins won their home opener in a shootout Yesterday against the capitals 4-3 as the two teams prepare for Tomorrow Nights game Pittsburgh just added another strong offensive weapon to their forward lines

Kasperi Kapanen on the ice Today with the Penguins. According to head coach Mike Sullivan. Kapanen is cleared. Available and will be a game time decision. Kapanen’s return to Pittsburgh was delayed due to visa problems and an 8 day quarantine as part of the NHL covid protocols.

Last year with the Toronto Maple Leafs Kapanen had 36 points 13 goals and 23 assists. This Afternoon the forward skated on the right wing on a line with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel.
