For the Penguins, every game is an important one. The Schedule is shortened and they are only playing games against Divisional Opponents. There is a tight race in the East.
The Penguins were at the Islanders, who struck first on the Powerplay off a shot from Oliver Wahlstrom that we redirected in by Brock Nelson. The Pens quickly found themselves behind 0-2 in the 2nd Period. Crosby began the turnaround with a Power Play Goal. 26 Seconds later, Kris Letang puts one in the back of the net, making it a tie game.
Kicking off the 3rd Period, the Pens were once again down by 1, but Kasperi Kapanen feeds Jared McCann who beats the Keeper to tie the game 3-3. The game would go into Overtime and the Pens bring home a Win off a goal by Kris Letang.
