Its a game week for Penn State Football meaning it’s Blue & White Week and as we prepare for the return of game action to Beaver Stadium we want to keep an eye on the defense this Saturday because that is expected to be another strength this year.
More specifically the Backline Redshirt Junior Daequan Hardy expects big things from the secondary this year as they look to improve against the pass in 2022.
Hardy said the relationship with first year D.C. Manny Diaz is a good one and specifically outlined strong Spring for DB’s Jiayir Brown, Kalen King DT Zane Durant and LB Kobe King.
He expects the defensive back room to be a strong one and cites youth as a major reason why.
Hardy enters fresh off a season that saw him have 3 tackles for loss one sack 2 picks including one that went back to the house and 7 pass breakups.
