Penn State Football

Penn State is at a crossroads right now. The Nittany Lions currently sit at 0-2 on the season and their head coach is hoping their team gets it in gear for Saturday.

And the Blue and White will need to do so as a red hot Maryland team makes its way to Beaver Stadium. After almost getting shutout in week 1 to Northwestern. The Terapins exploded in a big way last week in a overtime win at home over Minnesota.

James Franklin is certainly familiar with their opponent after being a assistant there for eight years after a lot of expectations for this season coming in the Nittany Lions have fallen short of those a bit.
And Franklin knows there are a lot of areas his team needs to improve upon.

“At the end of the day, this is the situation that we’re in and these are the circumstances and you have to make the best of it. I do think that your point is a good one. You have to look at the complete picture. You have to be honest with yourself. You got to be critical of yourself. You have to identify the areas where you can get better and should get better and fix those things.”

Kickoff with the Terapins from Beaver Stadium will be at 3:30 on Saturday.
