Penn State Offensive Worries

Penn State will look for its 2nd win of the season tomorrow. The Nittany Lions will hit the road to Rutgers and they hope to bring their offense with them.

Its the side of the ball that has most Penn State fans frustrated. At times they look great and at others they look terrible. Turnovers have been the biggest problem for the Nittany Lions this season.

They rank towards the bottom of the country in that category. 1St year offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca says his guys have been progressing in his system but like a lot of new things development is a process.

“The offense is not where I want it to be. The results have not been where I want them to be. But, we are doing everything we can within our control and we continue to get better. That’s what I love about this group.

That’s what I love about this culture is how hard our guys work. The energy that they brought to the practice field, and we’ll get there.”

Penn State ranks 48th nationally in total offense.
