Penn State Preparing for Outback Bowl

Penn State has begun to prepare for Arkansas in the Outback Bowl at the Schools Bowl Media Day, head coach James Franklin addressed a wide range of questions, including an issue that
is sweeping college football and that is making the CFP bowl season more meaningful for guys that have NFL aspirations.

Franklin said making the playoff as big as possible might be a start.

We’ve already seen the likes of Pitt’s Kenny Pickett and Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker elected not to compete in the Peach Bowl.

Franklin also said many Diaz will commit himself and will not be calling the defense in the Outback Bowl.

Franklin declined to comment on the status of star wideout Jahan Dotson for the bowl as well.

The Outback Bowl Arkansas out of the SCC, Penn State out of the Big Ten kickoff, is set for noon on New Year’s Day
