Penn State Tight End Pat Freiermuth

Penn State is happy to be back at practice there are several faces for the Nittany Lions who can’t wait for that first game including their All American Tight End.

And that man would be Pat Freiermuth. During his 2 years as a starter in Happy Valley he has lit up the stat sheet. The All Big Ten Selection has 15 touchdown grabs in his career which ties him for the all time school lead.

Once the orginal Big Ten news came down. He said he was moving onto the NFL, but when they decided to come back.

He was all ready to suit up for the Nittany Lions, he said the decision was difficult, but at the end of the day, he made the right call.

“When the Big Ten decided to come back,I knew right then and there that I wanted to play. The one thing I think was miscontrued about the whole thing was I never left school.
I never opted out. I never stopped enrolling in classes. I was always here. With the season coming back, I never left and I’m very excited to play.”

The Nittany Lions will continue practice this week through Saturday.
