The Penn State Baseball Team hit the road on Friday. The Nittany Lions were in Champaign to take on Illinois as they look to pass by the Fighting Illini in the Big Ten Standings. This was Game One of a 3 Game Series.
In the Bottom of the 2nd, Illinois with 1 on. Nathan Aide singles to left and scores Kellen Sarver. Cal Heiza hits a 2 Run Homer to left center making it 3-0 Illini.
In the Bottom of the 4th, Cam McDonald singles up the middle and scores Sarver. OneInning later, Jackson Raper off the top of the wall for an inside the park Homer making it 5-0 Illini.
Penn State would not be able to get anything going as they fall to Illinois with a Final Score of 9-0.
