Pens Back Home at PPG

After 3 days off the Pittsburgh Penguins return to action Tonight as their string of playing tough teams continues.

Following 3 of 4 points against Tampa and Carolina on back-to-back Nights last week the Pens are home for a battle with the Florida Panthers.

Head coach Mike Sullivan spoke at length after the teams morning skate Today.

Of note Tristan Jarry will be between the pipes Tonight which should come as no shock on plenty of rest.

The Pens activated forward Teddy BluegEr off of IR which is a big step for a guy that moves up and down the lineup and is a big part of the team.

Last but not least Tonight will be Winger Bryan Rust’s 400th career NHL game.

No doubt a milestone but also a process Head Coach Mike Sullivan has thoroughly enjoyed watching as 17 has evolved into one of the NHL’s hardest workers.

The puck drops at 7 Tonight from PPG Paints Arena between the Pens and the visiting Panthers who currently sit first place in the Atlantic Division.

The Pens are third in the Metro but have the same points as the Rangers and are 6 points behind Carolina.
