Penguins fans, you have to be loving this stretch of historic hockey.
Last night’s come from behind win over the Coyotes.
Mark the pens 17th win in their last 19 games.
So here’s how it all went down. The game was tied heading into the third period two to two.
The Coyotes broke through first to take a three to two lead before the Pens absolutely snapped.
Brock McGinn scored on a backhand short sider to tie things up at three.
Then the snowball was rolling. Sidney Crosby scored on the rush to give the Pens a lead they would never relinquish, Kris Letang scoring his second of the game making it 5-3.
Pens go on to take this 6-3. Head coach Mike Sullivan had this to say on his off day availability.
“You don’t just win with twelve forwards and six defensemen and two goalies. And that’s that’s a complete team effort.
It’s not just it’s not just the coaching staff and the players on the team, it’s it’s our scouting staff and our management team that go out and draft players.
It’s our development department and our minor league coaching staff in Wilkes-Barre that that improved their all of our players respective games.”
