Pens / Devils

Yesterday a lot of eyes were on the NFL as the season came to a close in Inglewood.

We will get there in a second but if you missed the Pittsburgh Penguins back in action in New Jersey you missed a red hot squad getting it done yet again.

The Pens yielded the games first goal to the Devils on the road before tying things up in the second period.

And we went to the third tied at 1 goal a piece.

Bryan Rust scored 36 seconds into the third period to give the Pens a 2-1 lead.

But not long after it was tied-up yet again.

Former Devil Brian Boyle broke the 2-2 tie and helped the Pens cruise to a 4-2 win.

Sidney Crosby had a pair of assists in the win and sits one goal shy of 500 for his career .

Penguins play the Flyers at home Tomorrow at 7 o’clock.
