Pens Highlights

Starting things off with the NHL where the Penguinis are red hot right now they started the season at the bottom of their division but with the recent string of success they have themselves just a couple points from the top.

Like they have all season Pittsburgh had to overcome some obstacles to get the 2-1 win over the New York Islanders last night their starting goalie was taken out but this team recovered well and had some lesser known names step up at critical times.

Head coach Mike Sullivan says that’s been the case all season and why this team is now tied for 2nd place in the east division.

“I thought the last 2 games were just a great team effort throughout our lineup. Its find to coach and to watch these guys play the game right now. Its just everybody is making contributions. Everybody is excited for one another. I think there’s a certain simplicity about our game right now that makes us harder to play against.”

Next game for the Pens will be Thursday at Boston.
