Pharmacy Theft

Police say they’re investigating after a suspected burglar shot his way into a Centre County pharmacy Thursday morning.

According to State College Police, around 2:20 a.m., a man fired a gun at the front door of the Rite Aid located at 1927 S. Atherton Street.

The gunshot shattered the window and police say the man entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of medication before fleeing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the State College Police Department at 814-234-7150.

They say the man should be considered armed and potentially dangerous.

Police say you should contact 911 immediately if you see him.
