To College Football, the Pitt Panthers and Louisville Cardinals may not be in the AP Top 25 if the Big Ten and Pac-12 were playing right now, but they aren’t. And so both are in the bottom part of the top 25 and both met up Saturday at Heinz Field. Pitt got off to a great start, up 13-0 but Javian Hawkins finds a hole and he’s off to the races. Sprints past the Pitt defender for the 75 yard touchdown. Louisville then put up 17 unanswered to take the lead. Then, with about 3 minutes left in the 1st Half, Kenny Pickett finds Taysir Mack. He gets taken down, but he was on top of the Louisville defender so he gets up and keeps going, and it’s a Touchdown. His knee never touched the ground, and it gives Pitt the Halftime lead.
Each team added a Field Goal in the 2nd Half, but Louisville would get no closer as Malik Cunningham gets picked off by the Panther’s Damar Hamlin. The Panthers slam home a win, they move to 3-0.
