Pittsburgh Penguins

Jared McCann’s third period goal lifted the Penguins over the Flyers on Saturday 4-3.

Pittsburgh led after the first period thanks to goals from Bryan Rust and Evgeni Malkin, but the Flyers would take a second period lead until Zach Aston-Reese tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in the second period.

Malkin, Crosby, Guentzel and Brandon Tanev all recorded two points each in the victory.

Goaltender Tristan Jarry also stopped 19 of the 22 shots he faced.

Saturday’s game was the third game between the Pens and Flyers this past week.

Pittsburgh will host the Rangers Sunday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on NBCSN.
