President Trump Visits Johnstown

Thousands of people waited for President Donald Trump to arrive in Johnstown Tuesday.

The president held a “Make America Great Again” rally at the John Murtha Johnstown Cambria County Airport.

People we spoke with traveled from across the region to attend the event and said they’re excited to hear what President Trump has to say.

People started lining up this Tuesday at 9 a.m.

People were bused in from the Johnstown Galleria to the airport.

Some COVID-19 protocols were in place at the airport.

Attendees were required to get their temperature checked before getting in line.

Volunteers were handing out masks and hand sanitizer but there were no requirements to wear a face covering.

Some people were wearing masks and others were not.

There were also no signs of people social distancing while waiting in line.

One Trump supporter made her way up from Bedford County to listen to President Trump’s remarks. She decided to bring along her young children as well.
