Protestor Posts Bail in Illinois

A man who has been sought on charges for his role in a shooting between two Bedford County men and Black Lives Matter protestors has been released from an Illinois prison.

Officials with the Dewitt County Jail say Orsinio Thurman posted 10 percent of his 20 thousand dollar bail.

According to Bedford County District Attorney, Lesley Childers-Potts, Thurman was expected to be extradited back to Pennsylvania to face charges in Bedford County.

But, on Monday, Thurman refused to waive extradition back to Bedford County.

A preliminary hearing on the Dewitt County charges and complaint in extradition filed against Thurman is schedueld for September 28th .
