Like many other colleges and universities across the country, Penn State announces there will be no 2021 spring break.
Plans for Penn State’s spring semester include a later start in January with the continuation of hybrid learning.
The 15-week instruction window will run January 18 through April 30 and final exams will take place May 3 through 7.
Spring break, originally scheduled for March 7 through the 13, has been canceled to reduce the possibility of Coronavirus transmission due to potential travel to and from campus.
Students will be asked to self-sequester for at least one week before returning to campus for the semester.
Mandatory mask-wearing and random testing will continue on campus through the spring semester.
