PSU Home Opener vs. Ball State

Nittany Lions Fans filled Beaver Stadium on Saturday for the first time since the COVID Pandemic began for PSU’s Home Opener. According to reports, there were over 105,000 Fans in Happy Valley for the game against Ball State. That is the largest crowd Penn State has ever seen for a Home Opener.

Coach Franklin leads his team into battle and they waste no time getting started. Their first possession resulted in a 5-yard Touchdown run by Noah Cain. The Nittany Lions took the lead early and never let go. On the next possession, Sean Clifford marches the team down the field in 8 plays and gets another Touchdown with the Quarterback keeper. PSU goes into the half with a hefty lead.

Last week, the Defense secured the Win against Wisconsin, and this week was no different. After the half, Jesse Luketa stretches the Lions leads with a Pick-6 following a one-handed interception.

Penn State already has 3 interceptions in just 2 games. The Offense threw for over 240 yards in the air and on the ground. Penn State claims Win Number 300 inside Beaver Stadium with a Final Score of 44-13 over Ball State.
