PSU Ladys Volleyball Coach Retires

Penn State women’s volleyball head coach Russ Rose says he’s retiring after 43 years leading the Nittany Lions.

Rose has the most wins in the end NCAA Division one women’s volleyball history with 1330 victories over the span of his career.

Rose will stick around in an advisory role within the athletics department.

They say Katie Shoemaker Crawley will serve as interim head coach as the national search for the team’s next leader begins.

Rose guided the Nittany Lions to a seven NCAA titles, including four straight championships and 17 Big Ten crowns, and Rose said My time here has

provided my family and my many memories and relationships that we will carry with us.

And he also says I would like to thank the many players, managers and support staff for their dedication. In addition to all of the assistants who helped shape the culture and success.
