The 2020 Olympics have come to and end 21 Penn Staters participated in the Tokyo games the former Nittany Lions claimed medals in various sports and four of them can now saw we are Olympic Champions
Here is the medal count for Penn State four Gold medals, four Silver and four Bronze. Penn State wrestling claimed four medals
David Taylor won the only Gold in the men’s freestyle 86 kilograms, Klye Snyder who won Gold in 2016 taking home Silver in 97 kilograms

And last night Haleigh Washington and Micha Washington took Gold for the USA women’s indoor volleyball team
With that Gold medal the United States passed China in the Gold medal count, that was also the first Gold medal for USA in that category, Washington and Hancock have come along way they were on
the 2014 Penn State volleyball team the two went from National Champions to Olympic Champions together
The duo have accomplished quite a bit, Hancock won back to back National Championships in 2013 and 2014 where she set an NCAA Tournament record with 22 aces
As a freshman and Washington was apart of the 2014 Natty team
And now they are apart of the first ever USA Women’s Indoor Volleyball Olympic Champions
