Penn State has suspended 117 University Park students for not complying with COVID-19 testing requirements.
Specifically, the students have not provided any proof of vaccination for at least three weeks.
The university requires those not providing vaccination proof, to be tested for COVID at least once a week.
The interim suspension means those students are not allowed on university property, and they can’t participate in classes, whether they’re in person or remote.
Penn State says close to 85 percent of the students and 80 percent of the campus employees are fully vaccinated.
