Penn State football finished its season with a victory Saturday, defeating Michigan State 39-24.
The Nittany Lions dominated the second half of the game in the comeback win, after trailing 21-10 at halftime.
Quarterback Will Levis scored on a one-yard touchdown run with just seconds left in the third quarter to give Penn State a 25-24 lead.
Penn State QB Sean Clifford then added a 49-yard TD pass to receiver Parker Washington in the fourth quarter, which was followed by an 81-yard punt-return TD by Jahan Dotson.
Washington had two total touchdowns in the win, and Dotson caught 8 passes for 108 yards.
Sean Clifford completed 17 of his 27 passes, for 232 yards, and two touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown in the second quarter.
For the Spartans, QB Payton Thorne completed 22 of his 39 passes, for 325 yards, 3 touchdowns and one interception.
With Saturday’s victory, Penn State capped off a shortened and delayed 2020 season with a three-game win streak, ending the season with a record of 3-5.
