PSU Womens Basketball

Starting things off with college basketball where the Penn State women continued their season Tonight. They took on Nebraska from the Bryce Jordan Center. As they were looking for their 1st Big Ten home win of the season.

And the Nittany Lions were able to get the big win over the Cornhuskers 85-74. The Blue and White were led by Johnasia Cash who had 27 points and a career high 19 rebounds. Mckenna Marisa also chipped in with 17 points and
7 rebounds.

Thats Penn State’s 4th conference win of the season and its first at home afterwards head coach Carolyn Kieger said

“Another huge team win. Everyone stepped up in big moments. Incredibly proud that we out rebounded that team. They’re a tough team and we’re undersized down there but when you have Cash and your post players pulling down 19 rebounds and Maddie Burke pulling down 8, that absolutely helps us out. A good 3 game stretch for us and excited to go and get another one on Sunday.”

Up next for the Nittany Lions will be a visit from Wisconsin on Sunday.
